From now on it is possible to walk all along the UNESCO world heritage Semmering-Railway. The 17.2 kilometres long walking route starts from the station Semmering, and continuous to the district of Spital a. Semmering and comes to the end at the “Kulturbahnhof Mürzzuschlag”. To create the walking tour exciting you can meet the Styrian writer Peter Rosegger and other important contemporaries, for example Carl Ghega and Archduke John.

During your walk you can learn interesting things about this wonderful mountain railway and the history of the Semmering area. Also you can look through some magic telescopes in the past. Along the route different “Railway-Restaurants” offer typical Styrian specialities.
